FOUNDER’S STORY

Jeremy founded StudioThisIs over 20 years ago in the DC area. He was one of the first to challenge industry standards by incorporating a stylized "editorial look" into his photography style. He constantly tests the bounds between innovative/original photography and classic/timeless captures.

But we can’t tell this Founder’s Story without taking a quick look outside the Wedding Industry. Jeremy’s creative skillset quickly grew recognition with commercial clients such as Pepsi, Hotel Del Coronado, Brush Creek Ranch, and the State of Indiana, all under the Creative Agency he founded ten years ago.

Jeremy attributes this blend of creative disciplines between “wedding” and “commercial” photography to his ability to capture his subjects dynamically.

“CAPTURING REAL STORIES AND TIMELESS MOMENTS is my passion.

I look at my camera gear, light, and location as tools to tell someone's story. I use these tools to capture what they want in a way that best fits who they are. I don't decide what things look like; the subject does that. I push people to be who they are, not who I want them to be."
